The Crawler’s Companion is a free, funky dice-rolling, rules-referencing, chart-crushing Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG utility that works in your browser on desktop and most phones and tablets.
Tutorials
The best way to learn about the Crawler is to view a series of Video Tutorials that covers all of the app's functionality . (These are in the process of being updated for the current version of the Crawler)

Installing the Crawler on Your Device
- If your mobile device has an Add to home screen feature, use it to install the app and add an icon to your device's home screen. The HTML version will then act basically in every way as a native app when launched from the icon. On PC/MacOS/Linux machines, you can do the same in Chrome-based browsers in settings/apps.
- Since all the files are then cached on your device in a special way, you can even use the app when you’re offline (excepting the generators which now access the web versions)..
What Happened to the App Store Version?
Unfortunately the iOS and Google Play app stores grew less friendly to small/free/indy developers, with little support and ever-shifting requirements: it was major job to try and stay on top of the changes. Additionally, the tool used to build the legacy version of the Crawler was abandoned by its developer, so uploading new features and bug fixes became impossible. As a result, the App Store version is now officially dead.
If you have an older device that the Crawler still works on, fantastic! The last Android version will always remain available for sideloading, but I don't have a single device in the pool (that still works) that will launch it! The HTML version is now feature-complete with the old version, with many new improvements and features, so it's time to enter the dungeon with us!
Legacy Versions
I'll leave up these download links for really old Android versions to sideload:
